Brandon X. Ewing is a finance professional, community leader, and public servant committed to building stronger communities and expanding opportunity across Lake County.

Brandon currently serves as the Lake County Board Member for District 9. He brings more than a decade of leadership experience in business, education, and community service, with a focus on creating opportunity, strengthening neighborhoods, and making government work better for residents.

Before joining the County Board, Brandon served eight years on the Waukegan Board of Education, including six years as Board President. He currently serves on the Waukegan Planning & Zoning Board and has served on the board of Youth & Family Counseling.

Professionally, Brandon is a Director of Community Retail Branches at BCU, where he leads teams focused on helping individuals and families achieve greater financial well-being. His work has included expanding access to financial services, developing community partnerships, and investing in the people and neighborhoods BCU serves.

Brandon is also a co-founder of Millennials Connected and Lake County Media Group and has been deeply involved in community initiatives throughout Lake County, including serving as Co-Chair of the Lake County Juneteenth Celebration planning committee.
